Hi Denise!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel - thank you so much for using us as a planning resource for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We're always happy to help.
Your trip is just around the corner - I know you must be over-the-top excited!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is absolutely one of my favorites. I always feel like I've just stepped into the tropics from the moment I enter the lobby. I also love all of the amazing dining options at the Polynesian - especially
'Ohana! I can't wait to get back and visit the Polynesian Resort again soon.
Hopefully, no one in your traveling party will be sick during your vacation, but if the need arises for medical care, you have several options. First, there are First Aid Stations located in each of the four theme parks. These can be located by checking your park maps, or your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. These stations are great for guests suffering from heat exhaustion, headaches, nausea and other minor ailments.
If something more serious arises, Buena Vista Urgent Care is located near to Disney property and offers free shuttle service to resort guests. I've also heard wonderful reviews about the Docs On Call service in Orlando. Docs On Call is a mobile medical service with 24-hour availability. You won't have to visit an urgent care or wait in a waiting room, because the doctor comes to you, right at the resort! You can find out more about Docs On Call at doctorsoncallservice.com.
My wish for you is that you'll have no need for any kind of medical care during your vacation, and that every moment is magical! I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World! - Diane W.
