Arriving @ 2PM on first day June 9. Want to go to resorts for that afternoon/evening. Can you suggest some activties to enjoy @ resorts w/ 4yo DD? Only day to explore them. Maybe Wishes at Poly to end day? What activities would you do? TY!

    Hi Jessica!

One thing I love about Disney is they make every effort to make guests stay magical no matter where they are. That being said, each resort carries a number of activities one can enjoy if staying at a Disney resort. Depending on which resort you're staying, you can get a list of activities from the front desk (or they'll usually give it to you in your Welcome package). Activities include various arts and crafts, visits by "special guests" (a Disney character or 2 depending on resort), pool games, etc. Each resort also has an arcade, playground, and other unique experiences.

And yes, the Polynesian has a few places you can watch the Wishes fireworks happening at Magic Kingdom. There are a few rooms at Polynesian that have a good view of the Fireworks show, but many have said the beach is the perfect place to catch the fireworks show. Perhaps relaxing on a hammock with your daughter? Sounds like a timeless moment to me :-)

    Enjoy your Disney Summer vacation!
