Hello and welcome back to planDisney, David!
Thank you for sharing another question with us. It is a pleasure to continue assisting you as you plan magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort!
By making a
Theme Park Reservation, you are guaranteeing a spot at that particular theme park on the date of your visit. You are welcome to leave Magic Kingdom Park and return later in the day, even if the park reaches capacity. If your ticket includes Park Hopper Option and you plan to dine at another park, please note that you will not be guaranteed entry into that park if it reaches the capacity limit. Your park reservation will hold your spot at Magic Kingdom Park only.
I still recommend securing dining reservations at a restaurant located inside Magic Kingdom Park. As you are aware, reservations can be made up to 60 days before your visit. If you cannot make a reservation, I recommend that you keep trying. Other Guests may change their plans, and you may find availability at a later date. You can also use the
My Disney Experience mobile app on the day of your visit and
add your party to the walk-up list at select table-service restaurants, or stop by the restaurant you wish to dine at and ask Cast Members at the entrance if they can take walk-ins (subject to availability). Another great option is making dining reservations at a restaurant located inside
Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and using the
monorail to conveniently travel from Magic Kingdom Park to your dining destination and back to the park after your meal.
I hope this information is helpful, David! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
See ya real soon,
Thiana
