    We will be arriving at park around 9am. Our resort (Art of Animation) check in at 3pm. Will we be able to leave park (Magic Kingdom) to check in and then return to park, or what is best option for our scenario? Should we shuttle from resort upon arrival?

    Hi Justin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is a great Resort hotel. I love the theme since it makes you believe you are stepping right into the middle of animation magic!

    There are a couple of options for you in regards to enjoying your day at Magic Kingdom Park and checking in to your hotel. First let me suggest taking advantage of Online Check-In. This service can be done beginning 60 days prior to your arrival date and is done online. This service is meant to simplify the check-in process.

    Once you arrive to the Walt Disney World Resort if you have your own car you can either go right the Theme Park or to your Resort hotel. I personally would choose to go directly to the hotel and complete my Check-In process. Your room may or may not be ready. If it isn’t ready you can store your belongings with Bell Services. From there you can take the Complimentary Resort Transportation to Magic Kingdom Park. This way you are able to sit back, relax, and let Disney take care of everything!
