Hi we are arriving in Orlando at 1:40.have reservations at chef Mickey's at 7:50, then planning on watching the fireworks from the contemporary,do we have enough time to eat (9ppl), and where is a good place to see fireworks? TIA

    Hello Kelly!

It sounds like you have a fantastic first night planned for your trip to Walt Disney World!  I am assuming Wishes nighttime spectacular is slated for a 9pm start time that night, although I do not know your travel dates.  If so, here is my recommendation…   why not check in at the podium at Chef Mickey's around 7:30pm?  No guarantees, but perhaps they can seat you early.  Since Chef Mickey's is a buffet, you can eat as quickly (or as leisurely) as you like.  Keep an eye on the time so you can scoot outside for fireworks viewing when the time comes.   Chef Mickey's is located on the fourth floor concourse.  As you leave the restaurant, walk to the north side of the concourse.  Just outside the doors, at that end,  is a large area facing Magic Kingdom Park.  You will be able to view the fireworks from there!

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
