Hi, I will be arriving in Orlando next week April9. So excited to share my 50th year with Disney World. Now it is no longer the case. I was waiting for our Gift card to purchase entrance and I see Disney Studios is not available? Help? Suggestions?

    Hi Pamela!

Happy early birthday! It sounds like you were working on incredible plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate your birthday, but theme park reservations are now limited for your special day. I'm so sorry and I can totally understand how frustrating it can be with limited availability, but hopefully, we can still make your birthday dreams possible!

As you know, Guests who are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation. If you have the Park Hopper Option on your ticket, you can enter additional theme parks after 2:00 p.m. and once you have visited your reserved park. And while you will need a reservation for your first park, you don't need a reservation for any additional parks you visit that day. While reservations can change, I just checked availability and found that both April 9 and 10 currently still have reservations available for EPCOT, so I recommend that you plan on park hopping for your birthday!

You will need to add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, either when you purchase it or as an upgrade, and then make a theme park reservation for EPCOT for the day of your visit. You'll start your magical day by enjoying EPCOT's awesome attractions and the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and then you can make the easy trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios using either complimentary water transportation or the Disney Skyliner. Since reservations are limited, I recommend that you make your theme park reservation for EPCOT as soon as possible. My family and I enjoyed a very similar itinerary several months ago on a spontaneous one-day visit to the "Most Magical Place on Earth" and it was the perfect way for us to still get to enjoy the magic even though reservations for Disney's Hollywood Studios were no longer available!

Pamela, be sure to grab a complimentary celebration button for your visit so Cast Members and other Guests can join in your special day. Also, let us know if we can help you again as you finalize your trip plans! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
