    We are arriving in Orlando mid-day but do not have park passes that day. What do you recommend we do that first afternoon/evening?

    Sara, a free afternoon at Walt Disney World has as many fun possibilities as the number of treasures Ariel had in her trinket collection from the world of humans.

    Jump in the pool. Walt Disney World resorts have fabulous pools so grab a little splash time before your days are filled with park visits.

    Head to Downtown Disney. Bowl at Splittsville Luxury Lanes, arrange for a magical makeover for any little princesses in your party at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or make reservations for a unique meal at T-REX Cafe, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, or the House of Blues. Create your own Disney themed Mr. Potato Head at Once Upon a Toy or soar in Characters in Flight.

    Float in a boat. Paddle boats, pontoon boats, and other water craft are available for rent as well as bikes, surrey bikes, and cane pole fishing gear.

    Meet Mickey. Book dinner at Chef Mickey's located in Disney's Contemporary Resort. Enjoy a bountiful buffet and hugs and pictures with the classic Fab Five while the monorail whooshes overhead for a quintessential Disney experience. 

    Visit Africa. Head over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge where zebras, giraffes, and antelopes roam the savannah. Enjoy a meal at one of AKL's restaurants that offers slightly exotic fare along with American favorites.

    Sing with chipmunks. At Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort roast marshmallows for s'mores, sing songs, and then watch a Disney movie out under the stars.
