    I am arriving in Orlando International at 1:30 pm- traveling from airport to WDW Resort by Magical Express- I have a dining experience at 4:30. Is this realistic?

    Jody,

    That is very realistic. I mean there are always unforseen hurdles in any vacation that can derail your plans, but here is my ballpark schedule for you;

    • Assuming you arrive on time, you are probably going to get off the plane and into line at the Magical Express area no later than 2:00 pm.
    • Let's assume you wait as long as 30 minutes for a bus (I have never waited more than that, EVER). Now you are leaving at 2:30 pm.
    • The bus ride seems to be about 30 minutes, all told. Even if you add another 30 minutes for stops at other resorts, you are still getting to your resort at 3:30 pm.
    • IF you were delayed that late, you would want to check in asap, then get moving to your reservation right away. But that is a pretty big delay.

    Just to be safe, make sure you check-in online before leaving home. That speeds up the resort check in process. Also take the dining line phone number with you and call if you think you will be late. They can notify the restaurant, and possibly adjust for your late arrival.

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
