    arriving in orlando before checking into disney. what is the first day I can use disney ticket

    Hi Timothy! Welcome to planDisney!

    I'm excited you have a trip planned to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon! I'm sure you are looking forward to all the magical experiences you are bound to have during your stay!

    Depending on how you purchased your park tickets will determine when you can start using them. Let's discuss a few of these options below.

    1. If you purchased a date-based ticket for your upcoming trip, you should have selected a start date for this ticket to begin. In this case, you will have to wait until this date to begin using it. Also, if you are visiting before January 9th, 2024, you'll need to make theme park reservations for the park you wish to visit each day. If you were to modify the date on your tickets, you'll also need to account for your park reservations as well.
    2. If you purchased your tickets as part of a vacation package that includes your Disney Resorts hotel reservation, your tickets will be available for use on the first day your package begins. You will not be able to start using them upon your arrival in the Orlando area.
    3. If you purchased a special offer ticket package, you may be able to start using your tickets as soon as you arrive. The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket which is currently being offered allows you to start using your tickets as soon as you want. However, once you start using them, you will only have seven days until they expire.
