We will be arriving Oct. 19 which is a Friday. We are so hoping our room will be ready early so we can unpack and settle in before heading to the parks. Is Friday a busy check in day for Disney? Thanks

I can't speak specifically to whether or not Friday is a busy day for guests checking in.  What I can tell you is that the time period during which you are visiting is a great time to avoid crowds.  With lower overall crowd levels, I would imagine that check-in would be fairly painless.  Whether or not your room is ready when you arrive will really depend upon the time of day.  Of course, the later in the day it is, the better your chances of going right to your room to settle in.  Just remember that in the event that the room isn't ready, you can leave your luggage with bell services and head out to the park.  I know it's not an ideal solution, but maybe the next best thing?  Have a great trip!
