    We will be arriving Oct 15, 2012. We want to do the breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe as early as possible on October 18th. We are stay at POP Century. How early do the buses start? What is the earliest reservation do we try for?

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    Buses start running about an hour before a theme park opens.  To get to the Wilderness Lodge from Pop Century using Disney transportation, you would take a bus to the Magic Kingdom.  Then when you got there, but before going into the park, you would head down to the boat launch and catch a boat to the Wilderness Lodge.  Boats run about every 20 minutes, and it is about a 15 minute trip to the Wilderness Lodge.  Once you get to the Wilderness Lodge, it is about a 5 minute walk to the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  Using Disney transportation, I would budget one hour for the entire trip, though it will probably take you a little less than that unless you just miss a bus or a boat!

    The easiest and fastest way to get to the Whispering Canyon Cafe would be to simply take a taxi from Pop Century to the Wilderness Lodge.  I have found taxis to be relatively inexpensive and a great way to get around Walt Disney World.  I think this is your best bet if you want to have an early breakfast.  Then afterward, you could take a bus from the Wilderness Lodge to wherever you would like to go; or you could take the boat to the Magic Kingdom.

    By the way, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is nice for breakfast but quiet.  If you want to go there because you have heard it is a loud, fun place for families, you should go there for dinner instead.  Breakfast and lunch are more subdued, especially breakfast.
