Hi Stephanie!
Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A few years ago, my family enjoyed an incredible vacation where we were able to enjoy both fall and the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. While plans for Halloween and Christmas haven't been announced for this year, I can give you some ideas about how you might get a taste of both holiday seasons during your magical vacation!
We scheduled our trip so we arrived at Walt Disney World Resort a few days before Halloween and we stayed for 10 nights. We enjoyed
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party the day before Halloween, which allowed us to enjoy the incredible Halloween decorations at Magic Kingdom. Then on Halloween day, we enjoyed festive activities at our Disney Resort hotel and Disney Springs. At the end of our trip, we were able to catch the very first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, as well as enjoy the festivities of Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
Keep in mind that every year, the party schedules change so you are not guaranteed that if you follow our itinerary you will be able to enjoy both parties. Also, while we were able to enjoy Christmas decorations at Magic Kingdom, not all of Walt Disney World Resort was decorated for the holidays by the end of the trip. Generally, the Disney Resort hotels are decorated a bit later, so you would probably not see things like the gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
An amazing Walt Disney World Resort vacation is truly the most amazing way to start your holiday season! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
