I am arriving the 16 of November and taking the Dream Cruise on the 17 what would be the best transportarion to do it?

    Welcome aboard, Alejandra!

If you are traveling from out of town, it really does help to arrive at least a day early just to be sure that you are already somewhere near the port when it is time for embarkation. Depending on where you stay at for the night, you've got some choices.

Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation is by far, my favorite way of getting from the airport or Disney Resort to Port Canaveral. It is available for additional cost of $35 per person each way - it is the easiest and most convenient way of transporting my family and I, when we are off to sail with Captain Mickey. You will need to make a reservation by calling 1-800-951-3532. My family usually books at a Disney resort for our pre-night cruise stay. We arrive at MCO airport, take the complimentary magical express bus to the Disney resort and enjoy our evening. That same night, you'll get a letter in your hotel room reminding you of where and when you will need to be at the following morning, to board the motor coach that will take you to Port Canaveral. Luggage handling is also included in the fee, so your check-in luggage will need to be ready for pickup by bell services at 8am on embarkation morning. Make sure you put your Disney Cruise luggage tags, so it can be delivered to your stateroom on the ship, that same afternoon.

The Disney Cruise Line motor coach will pick you up at your Disney Resort and it will take you right at the entrance of the port check-in area. If you purchase roundtrip transfers, the same motor coaches will pick you up and bring you to the airport or back to a Disney Resort.

If you choose to, you can also check out a taxi or cab or private shuttle to Port Canaveral. There are several in the Orlando area that you can contact. Depending on where you stay at the night before, just try to arrange for pickup early to make sure you arrive at the port at your assigned check-in time.

    Bon voyage!
