We will be arriving about noon time on our visit. What are the chances our room might be ready? Will we get our tickets at that time so that we can maybe visit one of the parks? If we go to the parks and dont get back late will we lose our room?

    Hi Barbara!

The normal check-in time at Walt Disney World Resort is 3:00 pm.  However, sometimes your room will be available before then.

While it is always nice to get into your room early, whether it is ready or not should not stop you from having fun.  Whenever you arrive at Walt Disney World, go to your hotel to check-in regardless of the time.  If your room is not ready, you can still pick up your Key to the World card which will identify you as a Walt Disney World Resort guest; if you have a package, your Magic Your Way admission information will be encoded on the card.  Likewise, your meal credits will be available if you will be on the Disney Dining Plan.  Then if your room is not ready, go to the parks or enjoy the amenities of the hotel.  The Cast Member at check-in will give you a number you can call to see if your room is ready, or they can set it up so that you will receive a call or a text message.

If you have luggage, you can leave your luggage with Bell Services at the resort hotel.  If you are using Disney's Magical Express and they are delivering your luggage, then your luggage will magically arrive in the room later in the day.

Don't worry about losing your room.  If my room is not ready when I check-in, I head off to the parks, and don't return until the parks are closed!  There's never been a problem!
