Arriving 05-15-13 for 3 nights. Flight is at 6am from NJ. Will the first day be shot? Not sure how to plan it since we will be up at 3am and have 2 young children ages 5 & 2. Staying at POR. Dinner at Fulton or Ohana?

    Hi Daniel!

My family is ALWAYS ready to roll as soon as we pull onto Disney World property, no matter how long they have been up.  So, we would probably drop our luggage off at the resort, (you may not be able to get in your room that early, anyway) and then head to Magic Kingdom.  Magic Kingdom is the park that most kids associate with Disney.  They will be very excited to see Cinderella Castle and experience all of the magic of this park.  I would plan to stay there no longer than four or five hours, and then get in bed early for the night. You should focus your day on Fantasyland at the park.  There are more rides there for your children, and will most likely feature characters they are familiar with.  Your two-year-old will probably pass out in the stroller at some point, which can serve as the day's nap.

Getting an early bedtime that night will assure that everyone is rested and ready to go again the next day!

As for restaurant choices, 'Ohana is my family's favorite dinner place.  The food is served family style which minimizes the wait.  It is all delicious, and there are some fun "parades" and dances for the kids to take part in during the meal.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
