Bonjour, Suzanne! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you to planDisney. Be our guest ... our command is your request!
Eeeek! In just days, you'll be embarking on your magical holiday adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you must be
so excited, Suzanne! My family and I absolutely
love spending Thanksgiving at
Walt Disney World Resort. With the theme parks and Resorts decked for the holidays, the oh-so-fun holiday events such as
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Disney Jollywood Nights in full swing before and after Thanksgiving Day, and an endless list of spots to have a delicious Thanksgiving feast, it's the perfect place to feel gratitude and give thanks. Now, let's chat about my favorite topic: FOOD!
Last year, the Disney Parks Blog released a fantastic
Disney Eats Foodie Guide to Feasts and Treats for Thanksgiving 2022, however, I am not sure if or when a 2023 Guide will be released. But I definitely recommend using last year's article as a guide for which restaurants may be offering a Thanksgiving feast again this year, and I also suggest keeping a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the news on which restaurants will be offering Thanksgiving fare this year as soon as it drops.
While I don't know if or when an announcement will be made, I think you will be happy to hear that several table-service dining locations throughout the parks and Resorts offer a more traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day. Last Thanksgiving, my family noticed that even
Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, a restaurant that typically serves African-inspired dishes, offered a menu with a more traditional Thanksgiving flare on Thanksgiving Day.
I recommend checking the websites for the restaurants you may be interested in having Thanksgiving dinner, as some of the restaurants will post their Thanksgiving menu as the holiday approaches. I noticed that
Whispering Canyon Cafe has posted information on their Thanksgiving feast, and it definitely sounds like a feast worth giving many thanks for! You can also check out the quick-service dining locations at the Disney Resort hotels. Last year, we did see that our Resort and the Resorts we visited were serving up a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Enjoy and happy Thanksgiving!
Suzanne, while I wish I had more information for you, I hope this was at least helpful! And I hope you have the most magical and memorable Thanksgiving yet. Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have!
Bon appetit,
Mandy
