Hello, I am arriving next week and I just injured my knee! I am a nurse so I didn't go to a doctor I just treated my self lol but Idk if my knee will hold out all week so I looked into embarrassing scooter rentals. What is a GAC card and could I qualify?

    Hi Autumn,

I am sorry about your knee! If I was a nurse, I probably would have treated myself as well!

The Guest Assistance Card (GAC) is a pass designed to help guests who have special needs and may need to have a shorter wait in the line. The pass is issued at the guest service window at any of the theme parks. In the past, a doctor's note was not required but now it is highly recommended and encouraged. Disney's has reduced the number of GACs issued because of new technology at the parks. This is due to increased size of the queues which allows gets with mobility issues easier access.

GACs have also been reduced due to technology that shows you wait times.

I would be prepared to rent a scooter.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
