Hi, we are arriving next Friday afternoon and were wondering where a good place to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks would be (from outside the park.) I saw that you can view fireworks from The Contemporary on the 4th floor? What is that all about?

    Hi Patty!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. I'm more than happy to help!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here. How exciting! I hope you've got your bags packed and are all set for your magical trip to begin. I just know you and your family are going to have a wonderful time!

If you're looking for a nice spot to watch Happily Ever After, the fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park, then Disney's Contemporary Resort would be a great choice. There is an outdoor viewing area on the fourth floor with great views of Magic Kingdom, and the music for the show will even be played through the speakers there. It's definitely a great place to watch! And if you don't have dining reservations for dinner, you might want to try Contempo Café which is also located on the fourth floor. It's one of my favorite resort Quick-service restaurants!

Patty, I hope this helps to answer your question and please let us know if you think of anything else before you leave. Have a wonderful time and make lots of magical memories!
