Hi, We are arriving on Monday and staying in Port Orleans Riverside. Most likely in the Alligator Bayou rooms. I know Disney resorts have bed rails, but I'd like to know if a bed rail will work with the fold down bed in these rooms? Thank you!

Hi, Kelly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You and your family and really in for a treat with southern hospitality at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. There are SO many benefits to staying at this specific Disney Resort hotel! Some of the best, in my opinion, are that you can take a relaxing ferryboat ride to Disney Springs, Guests can rent watercrafts, go fishing, get hair wraps, enjoy a campfire, and of course, experience the musical stylings of YeHaa Bob Jackson!

I have asked and it seems that the bed rails do not properly fit onto the pull-down Murphy beds (although some Guests have made them work with some adjusting). What most Guests suggested, was to take the mattress off of the Murphy bed and place it on the ground to avoid having your toddler fall out or get injured with the improperly fitted bed rails. I would also ask a Cast Member when you arrive as they might offer a better solution.
