We are arriving Monday and very concerned about the heatwave. I would prefer to postpone but not sure if I can.

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Gavin! Your trip to Disneyland Paris starts today, and with France declaring an Extreme High Temperature warning for Marne-la-Vallée, I completely understand why you are concerned and thinking about what options may be available to you.

If you have booked directly with Disneyland Paris, the flexible booking conditions allow Guests to cancel a Hotel + Ticket Package without penalty up to 7 days before arrival. As your arrival date is today, you are now outside that no-fee cancellation window, so I highly recommend contacting Disneyland Paris as soon as possible to talk through your options with a Cast Member.

If you have booked through Walt Disney Travel Company International with a package that includes transport, there may be penalties for cancelled travel arrangements. If you have booked with a third party, I would reach out to them directly as soon as possible, as your options will depend on their terms and conditions.

If you do decide to travel today, please take extra care in the heat. I recommend checking the Disneyland Paris app for the latest operational updates, as the weather could cause some outdoor show schedules to be amended. Take plenty of indoor breaks, avoid the hottest parts of the day where possible, wear light clothing, use sunscreen, and take refillable water bottles that can be topped up throughout the Disney Parks.

There are still lots of ways to enjoy the magic at a slower pace. Indoor attractions, shows, table service meals, hotel breaks, and shaded areas can all help make the day more manageable. If you are staying at a Disney Hotel, this could also be a good time to enjoy your hotel facilities during the hottest part of the afternoon before heading back into the Disney Parks later in the day.

I hope this helps, Gavin. I really hope that whether you visit today or in the future, you have a wonderful time! If you have any other questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

Stay cool and have a magical day!
    Matt
