    Hi - We are arriving mid-day at staying at AKL. We'd like to take the monorail to see Disney before we go to the parks the next morning. What is the best way to do this? Thanks.

    Hi Shelli,

    You're going to have such a wonderful stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - it really is an amazing Resort hotel!

    Complimentary Resort Transportation from your particular Disney Resort hotel will be in the form of the Walt Disney World Bus Service.

    So, in order to experience the monorail, you will firstly need to take a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort to the Magic Kingdom Park.

    Once there, you will be able to board the Resort Monorail which makes the following stops:-
    •Magic Kingdom Park
    •Disney’s Contemporary Resort
    •Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    •Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
    •Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC)

    The Epcot Monorail and the Express Monorail originate at the TTC and offer express round-trip service to Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park.

    Once you have finished your monorail tour, you will be able to take a bus back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge from either Epcot or the Magic Kingdom Park.
