Hiya Marc, and welcome back to planDisney!
I just know that you’re counting down the days to your Most Magical vacation. You’ll be at Walt Disney World Resort during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and you will not want to leave once you’ve gotten a taste of global eats and the smell of the blooming topiaries. Like those floral displays, your midday arrival in June will be practically perfect, so let’s dive right into the good news.
Your 3-Day Park Hopper tickets are only needed for your theme park days. Beyond using those tickets, you are not restricted to travel to other locations around property. For your stay at Disney’s Old Key West Resort lends itself to a complimentary boat ride from the Resort hotel to
Disney Springs where you can grab a bite to eat, drink, and shop. You could also take the complimentary bus transportation to Disney Springs to hop on another bus to
Disney’s BoardWalk. My family loves walking along the BoardWalk as the sun sets.
You could even make your way to the
Transportation and Ticket Center at Magic Kingdom Park and visit the Disney Monorail loop Resort hotels like Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The options are limitless.
If you were driving a car or using a rideshare option, you will usually need an advance dining reservation or a specific reason to park or be dropped off at a Resort hotel, but you will be just fine using the complimentary services like the
Disney Skyliner, Disney Monorail, buses, and water taxis.
Marc, please don’t hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation planning journey. I am happy to help you along the way. See ya real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
