Hey, Sarah!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You have chosen one of the best backstage experiences Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour was the highlight of my trip last May and it will open your eyes to the magic even more. No spoilers here…I promise. For Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour, you and about 19 other Guests will meet at the Town Square Theater about 15 minutes before the tour begins. Your tour will take you all over the Kingdom. Keep your eyes wide open because magic and imagination are mixed into everything.
If your tour at Magic Kingdom Park is before the theme park officially opens, look for Cast Members on the left side of the main gate with signs for dining reservations and tours. You will need to check in with them. They will look for your name on a list before allowing you inside the park. I suggest you print off a copy of your reservation and carry it with you in case your name is not on the list.
Tour tickets may be made 180-days in advance and require a theme park admission ticket the day of the tour. I suggest you make them as soon as possible. I would recommend the first tour of the day to have the maximum time in Magic Kingdom Park afterwards.
Disney Dad Tip: Tours give you unique opportunities to ask questions and “see” magic. Your Cast Member Guides are there for you so don’t be shy about raising your hand to find out “how they do that.”
Enjoy making many Magical Memories, Sarah!
