arriving to MCO on 2-20-13 @ 1235. using the magical express to go to all star sports, we plan on going to magic kingdom that day, any idea of a round about time we may arrive at the park for reservation purposes? Hoping to catch the 3pm parade!! EXCITED!

    Hi there, Abbie!

While timing is pretty hard to predict due to lots of external factors, there are a few basic assumptions that can be made about travel time.

The actual ride from Orlando International Airport to Disney property takes about half an hour. Each of the Disney's Magical Express buses may transport guests from the airport to three or four different hotels.

If your hotel is the first stop, then it will take about 35 minutes to get from the airport to the resort. If you’re the fourth stop, then it may take up to about 75 minutes once you leave the airport.

And this is all, of course, pending an on-time flight arrival and immediate bus access.

So let's say you get on Magical Express at 1:00 PM, and you're at your Resort - in the longest case scenario - at 2:15 PM. This still gives you 45 minutes to arrive at Magic Kingdom, but you will need to factor in some time to check in (feel free to leave your bags with Bell Services until you're ready to go to your room).

For the journey from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to Magic Kingdom, I would budget an hour. That allows for wait time.

Obviously, mitigating factors can impact this tentative schedule, but it certainly is possible that you could be at Magic Kingdom in time for the 3:00 PM parade. To be on the safe side, however, plan on making your dining reservations for after, say, 4:30.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
