We are arriving at MCO at 9:15pm. I know that as long as we arrive by 10pm the magical express will take our bags right to our hotel. Since it is so late, will our bags arrive at hotel super late like midnight? Are we better off getting our own bags at MCO

    Hi Heather!

Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help you continue planning for your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Disney's Magical Express is a great way to start your trip because it's so easy and convenient. It's so nice to simply board the bus to start your relaxing vacation and not worry about rental cars, navigation or parking!

Disney's Magical Express luggage service operates for flights arriving between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. However, it can take up to three hours for your luggage to arrive after your flight lands. So since you are arriving at 9:15 p.m., that means that it could be as late as 12:15 a.m. before your bags arrive in your room. I would recommend that you not put the yellow Disney's Magical Express luggage tags on your bags and you plan on picking them up from baggage claim yourself and they can ride with you under your Disney's Magical Express motor coach. Once you arrive at your vacation "home", the Bell Services Cast Members can provide assistance getting your bags to your room, if you need it.

My family always picks up our own bags if we are taking an evening flight. This way, we can avoid the possibility waiting up for our luggage at bedtime and instead when we get to our hotel, we can enjoy a late dinner and get ready for bed right away so we can be up early the next morning to start our vacation!

Please let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
