We will be arriving at MCO at 11:30 am October 1st. I am trying to plan our days. I am wondering what park should we go to that day as after we check in and everything I am thinking it should be around 2:00 or 3:00?

    Hello Nicole,
October is such a great month to visit Walt Disney World Resort; the weather is generally beautiful, yet not too hot and humid and of course the Disney Theme Parks will be so well dressed in all their Fall finery.
Usually after checking into our Disney Resort my family prefers to take things easy and will most likely chill out by the pool before heading over to Downtown Disney for an early dinner.  We like to indulge in a good nights sleep before launching into our first full Disney day all bright eyed and bushy tailed!
However that's not for everyone.....each of the Disney Theme parks are great fun to visit at that time of day, but if I had to choose just one I would say Epcot.
I've suggested Epcot because it's such a vast Park and most Guests who have been there since Park opening will be thinking of leaving at around 3pm; so in effect, you should find it less crowded.  Another benefit of being at Epcot is there are plenty of Restaurants and Snack locations to choose from for when dinner time comes around.
If I can be of any further help to you in planning your October Walt Disney World vacation, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
