We are arriving May 1st through 6th with my husband and 4 year old daughter. We want to see fireworks and/or night parade but my daughter does not like the loud noise, can anyone recommend great viewing possibly inside?

    Hi Teresa!

With the magnitude of firepower in the shows, it is almost impossible to escape the noise from the fireworks shows--many of the shells used make the ground vibrate!  You'll be able to see Wishes from the Grand Floridian (fellow Mom Andi enjoys outside of Gasparilla Grill & Games), you can also see if from the Contemporary, Polynesian, and WIlderness Lodge.  Unfortunately, faraway views of IllumiNations and Fantasmic! aren't as easy to find.

BUT...I'm going to suggest what we tried last trip that allowed us to watch our first fireworks show in several years:  child ear muffs!  Yep, that's right!  We purchased 2 pair (ours were from Baby Banz and came in a cool camo print...they have prints for girls too!) for our boys, and they HAPPILY sat through the entire show and were not bothered by the noise!  WELL worth the investment for us!!

    Have a magical vacation!
