We are arriving on March 26 and departing on April 1st. Due to a couple of our character meals costing to credits from our meal plan, we are dining at table service more than our plan allows. Will I be able to choose which meals are from our meal plan?

Hey Jason! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family loves to take full advantage of the Disney Dining Plan. We love the flexibility that it offers, and we also like that the majority of our meals are paid for in advance!

One of my favorite things about the Disney Dining Plan is that you can use this plan in a variety of different ways. You can choose to use your dining credits when you want and basically how you choose. If you want to have three table-service meals in one day per person, that is ok! If you want to share your dining credits with someone that too is ok! The Walt Disney Company in my opinion really made the dining plans something that will fit in with their guest’s needs and wants.

Whenever my family runs into the situation that you are in with having more meals planned than what we have credits for, I sit down and figure out which meals are the most inexpensive. The meals that cost the least amount out of pocket are the meals that we will choose to pay for! To roughly figure out what meals are most cost effective to pay for out of pocket, you can search for your dining location and they will give you a range for prices. I also use another site called allears.net to figure out my dining cost. They have an area with current menus with prices. Please note that menu offerings and prices are subject to change without advance notice.

I hope that you and your family have an unforgettable time! I hope to see you real soon…I would love to assist you with any other vacation planning questions that you may have!
