we are arriving in magic kingdom on Friday October 1,2010. The park closes at 7:00 PM that night. Will there be a night parade or fireworks that night since the park closes early?

    Hi Dorothy,

The park is closing early on that day for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  There will be both an evening parade and special fireworks as part of the party festivities.  Unfortunately, unless you've purchased a ticket to the party, you won't be able to stay and watch.

You can, however, catch the fireworks from a nearby resort.  Making dinner reservations at 'Ohana or Chef Mickey's and then going outside to watch the fireworks is a magical way to end the day!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
