    Hello! We are arriving 10/5 & have magic bands. I preordered a Photopass CD, will we use our bands for our photos or do we get a card somewhere? I haven't received anything more on the Photopass but the confirmation email - not sure what I need. Thanks

    Hi Shelby! The first time you get your picture taken with PhotoPass, you will receive a card from the photographer.  You can then use that same card to obtain additional pictures throughout your vacation.  As you enjoy your vacation, there may be a time where you forget your PhotoPass card - don't worry, simply get another one from a photographer.  Once home, you can add multiple PhotoPass cards to your account.  This is a great option if your group needs to separate at times.

    As far as the MagicBands - this is very new technology which is still in the testing stages.  I'm not sure if the PhotoPass portal has been fully baked/tested.  I am headed to Walt Disney World next week and I plan to look into this further as we are starting to get a lot of questions on this topic.  If they allow me to test this feature, I will so that I can use that information in future answers.  You can ask the cast member upon check-in if you can add the PhotoPass to your MagicBand to get the latest answer.  

    OK, back to Photopass...I have a couple of additional tips for you.  Whenever you get a PhotoPass card, take a picture of the back so you have record of the card number should it get lost during your vacation.  Also, if you are attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, look for a photographer near the Haunted Mansion and ask if he/she has any Halloween magic shots.
