Arriving 11/01/13, leaving 11/10/13...will be there in time for tail end of MNSSHP and beginning of MVMCP. Would LOVE to do both but most likely can't afford to. Which one would you recommend and why? Thanks!

Hi Dawn! It appears you have a wonderful problem. Your vacation coincides with the two great Magic Kingdom special event parties.

My favorite of the two is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party but just by a smidgeon. I love the Headless Horseman, the gravediggers in the parade, and having fun dressing up in costumes for the evening. But with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party you get snow on Main Street, hot cocoa and cookies, and the excitement of Santa and the holiday season.

Since you are arriving on November 1 and Halloween is actually officially over I would suggest you book the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for this trip. This way you are starting the new holiday season off with a bang and it will surely keep the family excited for the next month and a half as you countdown the days until Christmas. You won't have to bring costumes and can relax on your first evening since travel days are usually long, stressful, and tiring. Get to bed early and start hitting the parks at opening the next day.
