    We are arriving at LAX and have reserved the Shuttle Van to take us to GC. My boys are 8 and 7. It appears my 7 year old will require a car seat per California law. Do you know if they are available in the van? Do the vans follow the same laws? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. I hope you’re ready for your pixie-dusted adventure…it is right around the corner!

    In my experience, most shared van shuttle services do not provide car seats, although they are still required by law for children riding in large vans with forward-facing passenger seats. In California, children under the age of 8 must be secured in an age-appropriate car seat or booster seat. I suggest you call and ask if the specific company you’re traveling with will provide a booster seat upon request, and if not, plan to bring along your own or rent one from a local baby gear company.
