Hi Michelle,
Welcome to planDisney! You are just 3 sleeps away from the magic! Right about now, it's hard to get me to stop humming Disney tunes as we finish up our packing, and I definitely have an extra pep in my step! Let's take a look at your question to ensure a smooth magic carpet ride into the Disneyland Resort.
With a quick internet search, you will likely find that there are several services offering transportation from LAX to Anaheim. The majority of these services will pick you up from the lower baggage claim level at the airport, but it's always best to book your transportation ahead of your arrival and double-check all the details with the company directly. In terms of a specific recommendation, the Disneyland website offers Karmel Connect as a suggestion. Depending on your party size,
Karmel Connect will dispatch one of the vehicles in their fleet, which may include an unmarked transport van, black SUV, or town car, all of which will have a visible Karmel logo. If you've prearranged transportation and provided your flight details, you will likely receive a text that includes a "Ready to Go" link once you have gathered all your bags. Karmel will then provide a vehicle and license plate number for your ride. It's highly recommended to check that the number and license plate match the information provided to ensure you are getting in the correct vehicle. Alternatively, ridesharing is also an option, which I have personally used many times.
As you wrap up your planning, I highly recommend taking a peek at the
Park Hours and Entertainment Schedule to earmark opening and closing times along with the timings for any shows and nighttime spectaculars you do not want to miss.
Fantasmic!, my personal favorite, is currently performing on weekends only, Friday through Sunday, and while you can catch
Mickey's Mix Magic every night of the week, fireworks are added to the show on weekends as well. Showtimes are always subject to change.
Michelle, I hope we've set you up for a successful visit to the park this week! It's so easy to focus on all there is to see and do that I highly recommend carving out some time each day to take a moment and just let the magic settle in around you. Take a break, sit on a bench and eat a sweet treat, watch the crowds go by, and listen to the atmospheric music. Not only will this make the trip feel longer, but it's in these quieter moments that I often have the best memories.
