We are arriving later in the day at Pop Century and would love to just ride the monorail and maybe the skyliner back to Pop when we finish to give us a little something to do. We do not have park passes for that 1st day. What would be the route to take?

    Hello Mary!

I can tell that you are getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! I love using the Walt Disney World Transportation System to get around "the World"! I am excited that you have a transportation challenge for me to recommend a solution for you! There are many ways to complete this journey, but I will recommend the route I would take.

    1. Take the Disney Skyliner from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and transfer to another Disney Skyliner that is going to Disney's Hollywood Studios
    2. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, get on a Disney Bus that is going to Disney's Contemporary Resort
    3. Once at Disney's Contemporary Resort, go up to the fourth floor and get on the Resort Monorail; ride the Resort Monorail until the Magic Kingdom Park, which will be the 4th stop from Disney's Contemporary Resort
    4. At the Magic Kingdom park, walk to the Disney Bus Stop for Disney's Caribbean Resort and wait for a bus to come
    5. Once you get to Disney's Caribbean Resort, get on the Disney Skyliner to get back to Disney's Pop Century Resort

This route might take 1 1/2 to 2 hours or more, according to my experience. My tip is to get off the Resort Monorail stops to explore the lobbies of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. You can always hop back on the Resort Monorail to continue your journey.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is magical!
