If we are arriving late on Sunday afternoon could we go to one of the parks to eat if we have a reservation but our tickets don't begin until Monday?

    Hi Cindy,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I know you must be excited about your upcoming vacation!

One of my favorite things to do on a Walt Disney World vacation is eat. Yes, it's true! There are so many delicious options in the parks, Resort hotels and at the Downtown Disney Area that much of my planning time goes to choosing where we'll dine each day.

You will need park admission if you plan to have a meal inside one of the theme parks. If you don't want to use a ticket on Sunday, rest assured that there are many other options to choose from!

One of our favorite restaurants is Kona Café in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and relaxing and our kids loved making their own ice cream sundaes! You do not have to be staying in the hotel to enjoy the restaurants so keep that in mind when making your plans.

We also love walking around the Downtown Disney Area on our arrival day. It's a great way to get in a magical mood for the rest of our trip and they have some incredible dining options.

Wishing you a deliciously good time, Cindy!

    Happy planning,

    Andrea U.
