Hello, arriving late (10-11pm). Purchasing dining plan, but cannot see paying the 70/day for all 4 of us on arrival day. Can we not have dining plan on arrival day? Or, can we do a separate room only res for arrival day? Can we still do Mag Express? Thx

Hi Sarah! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan myself and I'm happy to hear that you will be purchasing a dining plan for your visit. It is so nice to have my meals and snacks paid for before my vacation, so all I have to budget for is gratuity at Table-Service restaurants!

When purchasing any of the Disney dining plans, the plan must be purchased for everyone on your Disney Resort hotel reservation and must be for every night of your stay. All of your meal and snack entitlements will appear in your account on the day that you arrive but can be used in any order. As an example, if you stayed for 6 nights (7 days) and had the Disney Dining Plan, you would get 6 Quick-Service meals, 6 Table-Service meals and 12 snacks, per person. You can use these any time before midnight of the day you check out. Keep this in mind when planning out your days to make sure you use all of the meal entitlements.

As for Disney's Magical Express, you can definitely use it! For arrivals to Orlando International Airport between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., you will need to grab your luggage from baggage claim and take it with you to Disney's Magical Express. Once you arrive at the bus, a Cast Member will assist you in placing your luggage under the bus for your journey to your Disney Resort hotel, then give it back to you once you arrive.

I hope this helps with preparations for your upcoming visit! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
