We are arriving late morning. Is it at all.possible to request an earlier check in?

    Welcome to planDisney, Michelle!

This is such a great question! Getting an early start on your arrival day is the best. I tend to take the first flight out and want to get my adventure officially started as soon as possible! I am happy to share my experience with requesting an early check-in and steps that may help you get in your room a bit earlier.

When completing your online check-in, there will be an option to select that you prefer prioritizing your room being ready over other requests like near an elevator or a high floor. Be sure to check this box! I also recommend reaching out to a Cast Member with Tickets and Hotel Reservations by phone. They will be able to note your request for an early check-in time. And when you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, be sure to stop by the front desk to inquire if early check-in will be an option, and mention that this takes priority over location. It is important to note that Cast Members will do their absolute best to accommodate requests, but it is not a guarantee. There have been trips when our room was ready by 10 AM and some when it was right at that 3 PM mark. If you are traveling during a busier season, you may find that your room will be ready closer to the official check-in time.

Should you arrive and find that an early check-in is not available, Hakuna Matata! If getting to the parks is your top priority, you can leave your bags with Bell Services and head off for a day of fun. You'll receive both a text and an email when your room is ready. When you arrive back at your resort, you can even request to have Bell Services bring your luggage to your room. This is perfect after a long day of exploring. If you were hoping for some rest, but the room is just not ready, head to your resort's quiet pool! These areas have lounge chairs, minimal noise, and plenty of shade. You can rest your legs, read a book, or maybe even catch a quick nap. Once your room is ready, you can continue to unwind or refresh and head out. And if you aren't looking for a nap, but want to sit and relax, consider checking out one of the lounges at your resort or in Disney Springs. You can enjoy great vibes, small plates, and your favorite cocktail or mocktail while you wait!

We hope to see ya real soon!
