We are arriving late in the evening on June 30 to the Art of Animation. We have the deluxe dining plan. Do our meal credits start that night or the next morning?

    Hi Wendy,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  It sounds like you are getting ready for an unforgettable visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  Staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan will be fantastic!

All of the Disney Dining Plans are calculated based on nights of stay.  Dining entitlements are valid from the time guests check-in until midnight of your checkout day.  What this means is if you are visiting for five nights, you will have 15 entitlements from the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan to use throughout your stay.  Upon arrival and check-in you will be able to use your entitlements, and it is up to you to use them as you need.  When we arrive later, my family and I will usually grab a Quick-Service meal to tide us over until the next morning.

Please don't forget that if you are planning on enjoying some Table-Service, Signature Dining or Dinner Shows while visiting Walt Disney World Resort, making Advanced Dining Reservations is strongly recommended.  They can be made up to 180 days in advance online or by calling (407) 939-1947.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Wendy.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
