We will be arriving late at the Boardwalk. I would like to have some groceries sent to our room, so we will have some refreshments. How do I do that?

    Hi Emanuela,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's BoardWalk Villas. Disney's BoardWalk Villas is my home resort with Disney Vacation Club. I love the hustle and bustle of Disney's BoardWalk, and the quick walking distance to Epcot is fabulous.

Like you, I like to keep a stock of groceries in my villa when I am at Walt Disney World. This makes for easy nighttime snacking, and even to prepare some meals in a villa with a full kitchen. There are a couple of options for having groceries delivered at Walt Disney World.

If you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you can arrange for grocery delivery directly through Disney Vacation Club.  To do this, first visit the Disney Vacation Club member website. Once there, log in and find the tab for "Plan Vacations." From this drop-down menu, select "Pre-Arrival Checklist." On this page, scroll down a bit to find "Order Groceries" and click on the link for Disney's BoardWalk Villas. This will bring a form that you can download, fill out, and fax or mail back in. Please do note that you need to allow at least three business days for processing.

Another option, which you can do if you are a Disney Vacation Club member or not, is to visit the unofficial website gardengrocer.com. This website offers grocery delivery to Walt Disney World resorts. When you use them, you select a four-hour delivery window. According to this website, if you are not there when the groceries are delivered, the resort will hold them for you. Bell Services at the Walt Disney World resorts do have the ability to keep food cold.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Emanuela. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
