Arriving 8/29 late afternoon. Staying offsite 1 mile away. Wanted to maybe catch the fireworks but don't want to waste park ticket for that. Can we go to any Disney hotel & park to watch fireworks? 4yo is kind of afraid of loud noise.Any other sug?

    Hi Helene,

While you can't see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom from just any resort, there are a few that offer good views.  I recommend making dinner reservations at Chef Mickeys, 'Ohana or 1900 Park Fare.  All of these restaurants are fun and a great way to start your vacation off right.  Afterwards, you can go outside on the beach to catch the show.  At 'Ohana they actually pipe the music in and you can watch right from the restaurant.

Another option would be the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.  The cruise leaves the Contemporary and includes a viewing of both the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes.  You'll also get to meet a few of your favorite pirates and Peter Pan along the way.  Call 407-939-7529 for more information.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
