Hi Georganne,
Planning a detailed itinerary is right up my alley ... I'm happy to offer suggestions! You've selected a super Disney Resort Hotel and your little princess will be in awe of the larger than life icons detailing the property. It's such a fun resort. Here's my thoughts on your itinerary, taking into account the Extra Magic Hours exclusively offered to Disney Resort Hotel guests:
7/26: Head to Magic Kingdom!
7/27: Epcot, Magic Kingdom (Extra Magic Hours until 12am)
7/28: Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios (Extra Magic Hours until 1030pm)
7/29: Epcot (Extra Magic Hours at 8am), Magic Kingdom
7/30: Disney's Animal Kingdom (Extra Magic Hours at 8am), Epcot
7/31: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach day; Downtown Disney or resort hopping at night
8/1: pick your favorite resort in morning (you might want to return to DHS), Magic Kingdom
Between parks, definitely head back for a rest. Even with older children, it truly helps to take a cat nap for a bit after a cooling, afternoon swim. After a nap, you're ready to head out for evening entertainment. I did see your prior question about parks closing for capacity. Because you're not traveling during the busiest time of the year (holidays!) you will not have this issue. It will be very hot, but taking a rest when the sun is brightest will allow you to enjoy the parks into the wee hours of the night! I would also encourage you to keep an eye on the
Parks calendar as operating hours and Extra Magic Hours are always subject to change.
You will have a magical vacation, Georganne! I'm happy to answer any other questions about your trip. Feel free to write me back.
Best wishes,
Sherri
