    We are arriving in the late afternnon. If we want to just see a fireworks show in one of the parks our first evening, does that use up a day on our 7 day park hopper passes?

    Hi Surita!
    It is always so exciting to be able to visit one of the theme parks as soon as you arrive at the resort.  You will, however, use up one of your Park Hopper tickets.  Our family usually gets checked in and explores our resort and room.  If it is warm enough, you could even use the pool.  One of my favorite places to go besides the theme parks is Downtown Disney.  The buses will take you there from any resort.  You can even make late dinner reservations.  T-Rex, A Prehistoric Family Adventure is a wonderful restaurant for adults and kids, and I would recommend the Mammoth Mushroom Ravioli.  The atmosphere is exciting and fun here.  I love not only shopping here, but playing throughout the stores.  At Once Upon a Toy, you can have fun making a Mr. Potato Head, and at the LEGO Imagination Center, you can built to your hearts content. We always enjoy a free sample of chocolate at Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Store. No trip is complete to Downtown Disney until you walk around the World of Disney Store.  This store is amazing and will have everything Disney that you can ever want.  D Street is a great store to see and purchase the fun Vinylmation figurines.  They have a table and light made from these fun collectibles. Once you are done at Downtown Disney, hop the bus back to your resort.  I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Surita.
