Arriving June 2019 with (3 grandkids (9, 6, & 1) and their parents. I want to make sure their"education" hasn't been lacking. Is there a list of movies / TV shows that I can make sure they've seen before our trip?

    Hi, there!

Nita, I'm so excited to hear about the vacation you're planning for your family. You are sure to have a Grand Adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort

I still remember the joy I felt as a little girl when I experienced all the immersive attractions in the theme parks; I got to be part of my favorite Disney films and stories! How neat is that? My heart just melts when I see my own children step into fairytales and adventures during our Walt Disney World Resort family vacations. Those experiences make for priceless memories. I asked my oldest kiddos (8 and 6-years old) if they could help me make a list of must-see films for your grandchildren. This list includes movies that have related attractions, restaurants, Character Experiences, and shows in the theme parks:

    • Cinderella
    • Dumbo
    • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
    • Fantasia
    • Alice and Wonderland
    • Peter Pan
    • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    • The Little Mermaid
    • Beauty and the Beast
    • Aladdin
    • The Lion King
    • Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Toy Story 3
    • Monsters, Inc.
    • Finding Nemo
    • Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (My 8-year old is afraid of this movie while my 6-year old loves it. I recommend previewing it before showing it to your grandchildren.)
    • Star Wars film series (Again, I would preview these movies beforehand.)
    • The Incredibles
    • Tangled
    • The Princess and the Frog
    • Frozen
    • Inside Out

I also recommend watching shows on Disney Junior like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sofia the First, and The Lion Guard. Please let me know if you have any other questions, Nita!
