We are arriving June 10th for a family vacation at Disney World with 4 adults, 4 teenagers & 3 children. I would like some info on character meals or meet & greets for youngest grandson, who will be 6yrs old on June 11th. We have very tight budget.

    Hi Sandra,

It sounds like you have a great family trip planned!

Character meals are a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with the Disney characters without having to wait in line at the parks. If you are on a tight budget, I would recommend that you opt for a character breakfast and think that your Grandson would really enjoy Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Both of these restaurants offer a buffet-style breakfast with large selections of food including traditional american fare. Whilst characters are always subject to change, you should be able to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto at both locations.

Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended for all character meals and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit online at the Walt Disney World website HERE or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (409) 939-3463.

There are several character meet and greets which take place at each theme park throughout the day. Be sure to pick up a Times Guide as you enter each park and check the Character Greetings Section for information on where and when you will be able to see characters during the day of your visit.

Wishing you all a magical trip!
