Greetings, Kathy! You’re about to have the most magical vacation! And you’re so smart to take a pool day, because Disney Resorts have some of the most beautifully themed pools available!
I really enjoy using Undercover Tourist’s park calendars to see which parks will be the most crowded (you can search for them on Google). So far, in my many visits to Walt Disney World Resort, the calendars have been pretty good at estimating crowds. I always like to bookend my trip with visits to Magic Kingdom Park, but only because it’s my favorite place to experience the magic!
As far as
FastPass+ goes, I tend to use mine on more thrilling rides in Disney’s Hollywood Studios like Tower of Terror and Aerosmith’s Rockin’ Rollercoaster, or incredibly popular, slow-moving attractions like
Frozen Ever After in Epcot or Peter Pan in Magic Kingdom. Once, I saw Peter Pan’s standby queue at nearly 3 hours, and was skipping into the FastPass+ line with a giant smile! At Animal Kingdom, we like to use our FastPass+ reservations on
Kilimanjaro Safaris or the best seats at the Festival of the Lion King. After you use your three fast passes (each day!) you can add another one in your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Use that, and then add another, up to 15 in one day!
If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can make those FastPass+ reservations 60 days before your check-in, so keep a list handy of your preferred rides for each day of your vacation! It looks like you will be able to make 12 reservations so I know you will pick some fun attractions! ~Lindsey P.
