we are arriving on the 3rd of July have 7pm dinner reservations at the crystal palace at magic kingdom. Will we be able to enter the park for our reservation if the park has reached its capacity on guests? Can we stay after so we can see the fireworks?

    Hi Autumn!

Unfortunately the answer is "no".  If the park closes due to capacity, Disney will not let you enter just because you have a dining reservation.  I recommend getting to the park mid-morning if you are concerned about the possibility of the park closing due to capacity, which does generally happen on the 4th of July itself and sometimes happens on the 3rd as well.

After dinner, you will of course be allowed to stay in the park.  The 4th of July fireworks are awesome and definitely a "must see" if you are going to be at Walt Disney World.  By the way, if for whatever reason you can't get into the Magic Kingdom, you can also watch the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian.

Good luck and write back if you have any more questions!
