    We are arriving on July 18 and so excited. I’ve heard so much about yummy Zebra Dome cakes in the Animal Kingdom area. Is there anywhere we can get them other than at a table service restaurant?

    Oh, my! You are correct; those Zebra Dome cakes are absolutely fantastic! Yum! (Making me want one right now, actually...)

    While I've had the good fortune to sample these several times while in Walt Disney World, I found an interesting link on where to find them at eatingwdw.com. (I actually found this particular blog by using ask.com.) According to this unofficial posting, Guests at Animal Kingdom Lodge can head over to The Mara, which is the Quick-Service restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. In that post, from February of 2012, a package of 5 cost $3.69, a great value, really.

    Getting to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge from Disney's Animal Kingdom is simple, too, since the resort is literally right next door to the park. It's a 3-minute bus ride, and The Mara isn't too far of a walk from the bus stop, either. (Just follow signs for the pool; The Mara is right beside it.)
