Arriving January 6th, 2019, will the holiday decorations still be up?

    Hi Doreen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about one of my favourite times of year: Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort!

I’ve had the chance to visit the Disney Parks several times in early January and I’m happy to say that, based on my experience, Holiday decorations are usually still up in the Theme Parks on January 6th and are only put away once the Walt Disney World Resort Marathon Weekend’s festivities are over (which is on January 13th this year).

Please note, however, that decorations at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels have already been taken down, so you likely won’t be able to see those when you arrive for your vacation in early January.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
