We are arriving Jan. 1 & staying at AK Jambo House in a savannah view studio. Can anyone recommend the best room or location to request? We'd prefer a great view but without too much walking as my 77 year old mother will be with us. Thanks, moms and da

Karen, your family is starting the new year the right way with a trip to Walt Disney World! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the most unique resort on WDW property with a multi-story lobby with a bridge and a soaring savannah-view window, a zero entry pool, and restaurants with an exotic flair. Sleeping with zebras, giraffes, and African safari animals right outside your window is hard to beat.

Typically the broader and simpler your room request, the easier it is for Cast Members to meet your needs. Just ask for a room closer to the lobby because an older person is in your party. When you ask for certain room numbers without explaining what you want and if those exact rooms are not available, a real possibility due to your holiday arrival, the staff has no flexibility to honor your request.

Wishing you a great beginning to 2013 at the most magical place on earth!
