Hello, We will be arriving for my husbands R&R using the Salute the Troops ticket. We are not staying on property. My question is, will we be able to attend the Extra Magic Hours with our Salute the Troops ticket?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a great promotion! Coming from a military family and utilizing these benefits in the past, I can tell you that this is one of the best promotional offers Disney has released! Your 4-Day Military Promotional Ticket comes with the Park Hopper Option, which essential allows you to visit more that one park per day. However, the Extra Magic Hours are strictly for Disney Resort Guests. The way it works is that lets say that the park closes at 9:00 p.m. but there are Extra Magic Hours until 12:00 a.m. No one is asked to leave the park, however if you wish to ride an attraction, you must show your "Key to the World" card (aka room key) to the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction to be able to ride. It is a great benefit because you avoid long lines and you can definitely plan your day to enjoy more of what the parks have to offer.

Hope this helps! If I can assist you with any other question, please feel free to send them to me!
    Happy Planning!
